Application
Hello,
My name is Pedro, I am 32 years old, and I currently live in Lisbon, Portugal. I have been playing WoW since the 2 last weeks of TBC, and started raiding in the middle of Naxxramas.
My highest point in this game was when I raided in a guild called Escapism (Hellscream server) between the start of ICC and mid Cataclysm, as we were fighting for server firsts and were ranked in the 2/3 best guilds of that server. I really enjoyed raiding at that level, but sadly the guild disbanded after Hour of Twilight, as we were struggling to have enough people to raid...the content got farmed and guild came to an end because of the summer gap that usually hits raiding guilds near the end of an expansion.
I felt a bit homeless, and after this period, I made a break from the game, since there was no challenging content. I decided to come back to raid in MoP as a Palading healer in a guild named Ice in Kazzak...after the 1st month I tought this game was going in the wrong direction for me and I stopped playing until last October). I basically did not raid Pandaria.
Meanhwile I heard about WoD, and my guess was that WoW was back on track, so I started preparing my return to raiding as the expansion hit live. I wasn't dissapointed at all! I love the current raids, and I feel most of what I used to like in this game is back, and even more.
I currently play in a Portuguese semi social guild, but I want to go back to the good old times of semi-hard core raiding - that's where my heart is, I want to be challenged to my full potential, and be at the prow of the ship...my current guild only managed to kill Kargath Mythic and do 2 days on Twins in Highmaul.
I like the people there, don't take me wrong, but I think they don't have the commitment that I do, nor the goals that I want to achiev...My current progress is 10/10N and 4/10 HC, but the majority was done pugging late in the night after raiding, as they didn't even tried Blackhand yet. Altough I might consider this aspect to be the weakest link in my application, I can assure you that I know all boss encounters, and would like to underline that I have much experience as a raider in a top guild .
Regarding myself as a player I have experience in all roles and almost all classes, but my master's degree is Hunter, which I have been playing for many years now (since day 1 for me).
I constantly research the class, almost in a daily basis before going to sleep (that may seem a bit weird but it is true), to try to get that little something that may bring an extra benefict to the raid. I plan my role for each fight prior to being there, and I am the kind of player who can adapt to whichever the raid demands from me.
I am not saying that I am the perfect player, but I learn from mistakes, and I am very commited to the raid - I value group progress over personal, and I am not saying this to be polite, I really mean it, as the fulfillment for me is to be part of a group that achievs things that are not so easy to be acomplished by the majority.
I currently play Survival, which is the spec that does more dmg in 95% of the fights, but can also go Marksmanship, if the raid needs it for anything, or even Beastmastery - I can play all of the three hunter specs very well.
I am currently working on a Multistrike build, as this is the most valuable secondary stat for Survival at this level. My low tier talents are based on the specifics of the fight, whether I need mobility or survivability, and the type of crowd controlling that needs to be dealt with, if any.
My high tier talents are usually TotH, aMoC, Barrage and Lone Wolf - I have 4 pieces of the set now and I think that the dmg made with Lone Wolf is currently on par with Focusing Shot due the the bonuses, and I don't lose any kind of mobility due to the fact that Focusing Shot can't be casted on the move.
Regarding this content, and as I said before, I know my thing, what to do in every fight, and I always come prepared. Adjustments are made according to what the raid leader demands.

I currently have no dps logs, but in my current group I am 90% of the time the highest dmg dealer and the lowest person on damage taken.
Another minor information is that I come from the Horde, only been playing in the Alliance since this expansion. I also like to do PvP when I have the time, as well as do alt runs, primarly to get other classes perspectives of the fights and to have some fun ofcourse.
Last but not least, I just want to underline that I am not applying to other guilds for the moment, Balance is my choice, as I have a strong feeling that this may be a guild where I can fit in...really hope you guys think the same and give me a chance. I am a very loyal personal, 0% drama with me, I keep it cool all the times no matter what, just want to do my job with pristine effort and dedication, while I have fun with people that share the same goals - get the highest progress possible while in a guild.
Thank you for reading this, and let me finish this application with the hope and enthusiam that you could give me an opportunity to be trialed in a guild with the calibre of Balance.
Pedro.
EDIT*****
I missed saying that my raid attendancy is around 99%
Cheers.
