Hellojow

I was curious, personally I stopped playing WoW about 5 months ago (didnt got higher then level 60 hunter with some blueish on me :P, still pvpv ownt shit ^^) but since I made kinda alot of friends in WoW during that time in guilds like Evolution Alpha (Terenass) and Riders on the Storm (Cinco, Darkesty) I also knew more people from the realm. But what my point is, is that some dude told me that getting tier 4 armor (or as it is stated to be tier 4!!) is as easy to get as shadowcraft (wtf?). So if its true, or nearly true, aint this kinda painfull for you guys? working so damnd long and having so great progress in naxx and even completed it some times and now seeing people getting better gear in no time? (unthough its level 70 ofcourse)

Secondly, arent raids like naxx, zg,bwl and especially mc a little useless for now since at level 60-70 u will get better gear anyways or is the whole point of these dungeons not the gear but just the fact that u love raiding so much??

I hope you understand all that I wrote and I admire you all beeing so damnd pro...

btw, 1 more thing

TIER 2 BLOODFANG FTW!! :P

You realise there are new raid encounters for level 70 in TBC, right?

Yeah I do, but the level 60 dungeons are too hard for people that want to level kinda fast from 60 to 70 I think, dont they? I mean, is there any idiot who is gonna work weeks to get tier 2-3 now a days while u can get tier 4 kinda easy and while its a better preparation. Unless you wanna make a level 60 twink lol

Well, hardcore raiding in a top guild gives you something far more important than gear - and that is experience. :D

So..., what exactly is your point with this thread then?

EDIT: To answer what seem to be your 2 questions in the first post: No, Yes

well, my point is that I feel pitty for you to work so much for gear while u can get better by now but I understand its all about having fun I guess... well still thanks for answering my questions, but it was more curiousity about how you feel about these issues. But now I know you all do it for experiance...

Btw, are you all level 70 by now? I was curious when you will start with that dungeon where you need to fight Illidan ^^

If you only played for gear that would be the case, but my guess is that most of the balancians play for progress, and although how good it feels to get a nice purple ring or what ever, beating a new encounter for the first time is far more satisfactory.

To get the gear is just a necessity to be able to progress further. And with TBC there are lots of new progress to be made.

Nah, most of them play for gear too (we had a couple of gear drama), but you need progress for gear, so... :P

Well most have been answered already, and snö hit the spot with his comment.

Yes it does suck that our gear is slowly becoming useless for the raidencounters today, but t3 is still evne though lvl 60 item, really good.
Getting t4 is NOT as easy as getting shadowcraft.
Beisdes almost all t4 do suck since they´re nto upgrades and setbonuses are not even worth it. Random epics are the best atm. And with nerf to rogue t4 there is no need to get most of the gear even. t3>t4.

No we can´t start on illidan instance since its not even completed or implemented. WE have Serpentshire Lair and The Eye (Tempest Keep)first to take care of.

And as a last. I couldn´t care less what gear I have, or that even if it were true that all our hard work is in "vain" in your eyes or to any one else. I´ve been everwhere in this game, and I´ve seen everything that you possibly could uptil TBC. I´ve gotten the experience of a lifetime by doing that. Now we´re the only ones that can say JUST that.

Memories for life>new gear.

wow ur way wrong or atleast ur friend is.

t4 are not from normal instances. there is a blue tier from normal 5man instances.
examples: T4 legs drop from a boss only 2 guilds took him down so far. i belive more than 2 guilds got Baron down :P

^^ I just thought gear > raids since Ive been in some guild for some days and the progress sucked lol, propably cause of me aswell since im a born PvP player, but I hate it for example to be in LBRS for focking 5 hours lol cause someone is gone or leaves the group and then after the we cleaned the dungeon I didnt get what I needed lol, maybe thats cause Im so obsessed about gear...
