Just to catch up we thought we'd add Al'Akir to our list of kills by doing it on 10 man this week while we finish the remaining 25 man content.

Overall, the boss is quite easy, though phase one can be a pain if a few too many variables - knock-back, tornadoes, chain lightning and frost-patches all occurring at the same place.

In truth we probably should of started killing this boss ages ago if for nothing more than the free 372 shoulder / heads with the token Al'Akir drops, but there you go, lessons to be learnt for the next tier.

Seeing as we hadn't killed a boss in awhile we thought it was time to start again so here is Nefarian down after a night and a half of learning.

Not the easist of bosses to bring down when rebuilding a raiding core for Firelands but here you go. I think in total we spent a good 4 nights on this, including some quite bad setups as we started moving people around and clearing out the guild anew.

While I cant say this tier has presented us as we would wish to be, I'd like to thank everyone who has stayed and wanted to progress, not that this tier is yet over for us.

We probably should have killed Cho'gall the night before having wiped on 4% (2% before he basically dies and falls through the floor) but it fired us up to come back and do him tonight in only a few attempts.
