The transformation to DEMON HUNTER that is!!
Yes yes and yes! Since Illidan first died we've been farming the tbc content, gearing us up for the next instance rumoured to be the "hardest ever made". So there hasn't been anything to update the news section 'til now.

With the new patch of 2.2 some changes were made to Illidan - a 15 min enrage timer! 15 minutes from the moment you talk to Akama and start the encounter. The screams and whines were plenty worldwide and even from me! "Omg it can't be done", or "this will mean more dps stacking". But as of yesterdays kill we managed to defeat this VERY hard encounter yet again and yes under the 15 minute barrier aswell. The fight was far from perfect with 2 dpsers dying after 30% and no ability to use the traps, our insane nukes still held up and Illidan died after 14.30 min! An achievement of world class!

At arround 3-4% when Illidan was about to die, Fowl whispered me, "give me masterlooter" and there it came. THE LEGENDARY WARGLAIVE OF AZZINOTH! YES you heard me Fowl actually looting something good, it's not a joke and the loot beeing the Legendary Offhand - the rarest of them all with a mere 0.5% dropchance!



As this encounter in it's current state is too hard of a requirement for guilds that clear up to Illidan, the enrage timer has already been changed from 15 mins to a 25 minutes. But we can pat ourselves on the back that we pulled it off as one of few guilds in the world!

There it is! Illidowned!
I'm sitting here late at night, several hours after the Legendary and mighty Lore character Illidan Stormrage - The Betrayer - thinking what could be worthy to write. In truth nothing might be worthy to type here.
This might actually be the first time where I find it hard to express how much this boss meant to us and the whole raiding community.

We've worked really hard for this bossfight and really brought the outmost of ourselves, in both patience, understanding and most of all soul. This bossfight is truely legendary allthough it may not be the hardest we've done in our raiding history or even in TBC, this is still the pinacle of our raiding together with all the other endinstance bosses. Illidan has 5 wicked phases all except for the first one is easy. There is so much you can wipe on and so much damage that your healers need to be tip top for 20mins and more. Peeps won't understand what an accomplishment this is until they've tried it themselves. Legendary!



The Balance Crusade, ahh yes. I mentioned it and I will hold to that claim. This expansion we proved that old school guilds still have what it takes allthough we don't raid the longest or the most, quality raiding is really what it's all about. With Illidan down, we cleared Black Temple all server firsts yet again which puts SSC, TK, Hyjal Summit and lastly the Black Temple all under Balance server firsts from first boss to last! This is an achievement of Nihilum class for our server and EVERY single Balancian should be proud of this achievement as this may and will be for some the best they will ever have done in their WoW-life. I wonder what else we can strive for now?

As I think back of this instance I'm really glad I got to finish it. This instance was really fun to clear in comparrison to say Hyjal and blizzard really showed that bossfights can either be very simple like the Shade of Akama one or extremely hard like RoS, Mother Shahraz and ofc Illidan Stormrage. I have to say that I'm most pleased nay proud over the Black Temple because this has most certainly been the best instance out of all in TBC. It's both with delight and sadness that I proclaim TBC on farm, until the Sunwell comes out.

For once we actually got pretty good loots from an end instance boss. 2 weapons and nice tokens. Can't complain much there allthough no legendary, =P but atleast there is great hope for that with 2 weapons as first loots.



Lastly before I get too muushy, I wanted to extend this post by dedicating this fine achievement to all the peeps of Balance. I want to thank you all for sticking up for me even though it got rough a few times. Basically what I'm trying to say is thanks for beeing there and continuing with my constant pressure and nagging, doing all that I demanded so we could stand here today all nice and tidy in front of Illidan. And I'm sorry if I hurt a few toes on the way doing it aswell. One more thing, yes I`ll try to let this be the last one. I also want to thank all Balance Veterans still in the game. Thanks to you all guys and you know who you are, you made me stick to this game so long aswell as others too naturally, but some have been supporting me for a LONG time and I couldn't have done this without you guys. I'm glad you were all here by my side when this boss went down. It has been a great honor serving with you guys! You have my respect!

You are truely BALANCIANS all of you!

And yes there will be a movie out as soon as we finish it ofc!

HEEEEEEEEEEELL YEAH!
Looks like I started alot of new topics with that sentence lately, but it's a term I'll gladly shout!
The Illidari Council is SCHOOOOOLED, and yet on a server first in front of Illidans eyes! This time not one, not two but four heads rolled as Balance hacked and slashed its way towards Illidan. When first facing these bosses, it reminded us of the 4 horsemen encounter and we all loved that one. So it was no mishap that we all were very enthusiastic for this encounter! Kudos aswell to the most likely best lineup for a picture ever! This proves even moreso how organised we were!



I'm just so psyched that we didn't spend more then a day of dedicated tries tops. Half a day for fixing tacs and the other half getting prepped and just totally zerged them within a few tries. This boss fight is all about burst damage and shall in no way be considered a free kill. This fight will give alot of guilds painstaking hours of wipes because their healers/players are not alert or hyped enough. But that didn't apply to us!! =D Now killing this boss quartet not only yielded in the 4th set piece T6 token but was also the last step for us to meet THE BETRAYER!! And I guarantee you it was with mixed feelings as we marched towards him. Some of the depraved amongst us even had a hardon, *cough* Nimoth *cough**cough*! =D
